We were away on a trip to Taiwan and spent 40 days visiting families and friends and most importantly re-discovering the country where we were born. We toured eastern and southern parts of Taiwan where it is much less populated. We felt in love with Taidong, a county in south eastern Taiwan where in our opinion is truly the Formosa. The geography in Taidong is rich and dynamic yet very balanced and peaceful. There are ocean, mountains, rivers, and flat lands all within short distance. Here are some pictures from Taidong.
